RGYC, in collaboration with Australian Sailing, are proud to host the 2026 Australian Youth Match Racing Championship on the clubs fleet of RS21 yachts. Crews will consist of 4 to 5 sailors per boat and is open to participants under the age of 23.
An Open Match Racing Regatta is scheduled for 12 & 13 September 2026 as a lead in event.

All competitors will be invited to participate in practice racing on Wednesday 21 October included in the event entry fee. Boat bookings are essential to ensure all teams have equal opportunity over the day.
Geelong is serviced by Avalon Airport (30-minute drive) and Melbourne Tullamarine Airpot (65-minute drive)
Avalon Airport
Participants can request an airport pickup by RGYC Members for all flights arriving at Avalon Airport. Bookings are essential through the Sailing Office. Alternatively, Taxi/Uber options are available.
Melbourne Airport
Gul Geelong provides an effective bus shuttle from Melbourne Airport to multiple sites in Geelong for $39 one way / $72 return per person.
