The incident reporting process is an important way for the Club to identify hazards and to ensure that incidents are properly dealt with and the root cause investigated. From the investigation process, corrective actions, if required, will be identified, discussed and implemented.
For Club members, the important first step is to complete an “Incident Report” form. This is a simple one page document designed to capture the relevant information. Once submitted, all incidents will be subject to the incident investigation process. This will be conducted by an appropriate staff member. The outcome of all investigations are reviewed at the monthly Workplace Health & Safety Committee meeting.
