Our talented RGYC cadets are making a splash at the UK Nationals in Plymouth, with all three teams securing spots in the top 10! Leading the charge, Josh Garner and Jack Benyan have a commanding lead, setting their sights on the championship title. Cate McCoy and Will Garner are holding strong in 6th place, while Will Farnell and Louise Davis are close behind in 9th.

The first day of racing brought perfect sailing conditions, with a gentle south-east wind and clear skies. The fleet of 105 cadets, divided into racing and regatta divisions, navigated the waters south of Drake Island. Josh and Jack’s exceptional performance, including a series of first-place finishes, has earned them a significant points lead. Cate and Will’s consistent efforts have kept them competitive, and Will and Louise’s strong showing has them poised for more success.
