Dinghy Courses

Dinghy sailing is a great way to introduce the basics of sailing, learn technical skills and improve upon pre-existing skills. Due to dinghies being a smaller boat you are in much more control and able to learn various aspects of sailing at one time compare to larger vessels where you tend to learn one part at a  time. Course cover a wide range of skills such as launching the boat from the beach/ramp, cursing the bay, learning specific safety skills and taking charge of the boat yourself.

RGYC use Pacer dinghy’s for sailing sessions at RGYC, they are a very sturdy and safe vessel ideal for training and beginners. You can be are sailing in groups of three’s, pairs or individually
