This season, we’re upping the ante, and it all starts with our mandatory Keelboat Pre-Season Briefings. These sessions are more than just a formality—they’re your key to getting race-ready and ensuring your crew is primed for success. As per the 2024-2025 Season’s Notice of Race, if you’re an Alpha or Charlie Course boat owner, or a regular skipper, you, along with at least one crew member, must attend at least one of these briefings.
Here’s when you can join us:
- Thursday, September 5th: 6 PM – 7 PM
- Wednesday, September 11th: 6 PM – 7 PM
- Saturday, September 14th: 10 AM – 11 AM
These sessions will cover everything you need to know for the season ahead, from race rules to safety updates. Plus, it’s a great chance to catch up with your fellow racers and stoke the excitement for the season to come!

Mark Your Calendars: Season Opening Day & Working Bee
Speaking of excitement, our Season Opening Day on October 5th is set to be one for the history books. This year marks our 100th Season Opening Day since receiving our Royal Warrant—a milestone that adds an extra layer of significance to the day.
Here’s the plan:
- Formalities: 12:30 PM
- Sail Pass: 2 PM
Afterward, we encourage everyone to head back to the clubrooms for some good old-fashioned socializing. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season, celebrate our centenary, and catch up with friends new and old.
Before all the festivities, don’t forget our Pre-Season Working Bee on Saturday, September 21st. This is your chance to lend a hand and help us get the club in top shape for the season. The more, the merrier!
