There are a wide range of accommodation options within a short walk, bike or drive from RGYC, from University apartments, hotels and caravan parks. Below are just a few options.

Trailer Parking & Boat Logistics

RGYC will house all competitor trailers onsite for the duration of the regatta. Our hardstand has plenty of space for rigging on trailers, but boats must be launched once rigged and stay in their allocated berth until the completion of each regatta.

Competitors will have access to storage from Monday 5th January 2026. All non-RGYC boats and road trailers must be removed from RGYC grounds by no later than Wednesday 13th January 2027.

Competitors wishing to deliver their boats to RGYC prior to January 2027 must contact the RGYC Marina Office on 0418 524 867 well in advance. Longer term off-site storage may be available with the assistance of the Etchells Geelong fleet.

The regatta will use the Vakaros RaceSense system for starting and OCS calls at a minimum. All entrants shall either carry their own Vakaros unit or hire a unit for the duration of the regatta.

If you wish to purchase a Vakoros unit in the lead up to the event, please contact your Etchells fleet captain or you can purchase these directly from Vakaros.
