SailPass

Obtaining a SailPass is quick, easy, and allows non-members to participate in Club sailing activities at RGYC. Better yet, if the SailPass is used during our Wednesday social racing, such as Twilight and Midweek Marvels series, it is completely free up for up to 12 uses!

The SailPass allows you to participate in sailing before requiring RGYC membership, while simultaneously providing insurance coverage through Australian Sailing. Quick and easy to get, SailPasses are available via the Memberpoint App and at the Club’s Reception or Sailing Office on race day.

How to Get Your SailPass

• Download the MemberPoint app on your mobile device.
• Select Royal Geelong Yacht Club and complete the sign-up.
• Grab your SailPass and head to the club for a day on the water!

April 2026 Update
The process of obtaining a SailPass through the MemberPoint application has been updated to reflect the Club’s existing Day Membership / SailPass policy. SailPasses still have a 12-use limit and are completely free for Wednesday racing. On other days, the policy’s pricing structure is applied and will be shown according to your collective usage when you obtain a SailPass in the MemberPoint app.

Resigned Members, or members of an RGYC Kindred Club, are required to see the Sailing Office or Reception prior to obtaining a SailPass to ensure the correct pricing structure is applied to your member profile.
