Come and experience sailing on Corio Bay as the sun goes down. It’s relaxed, social, and great for first timers. We’ll match you with a skipper and crew so you can simply turn up and enjoy it. No experience necessary! Twilight racing takes place each Wednesday evening from early October.

Keen to sail? Simply email sailing@rgyc.com.au by midday on the Tuesday prior to race day, provide us with your details (name, phone number and sailing experience if any) and we’ll reach out to skippers to find you a spot for that week’s race.

  1. Register with the Sailing Office by emailing sailing@rgyc.com.au before noon on the of the week you wish to sail.
  2. Download the MemberPoint application from the App Store or GooglePlay Store.
  3. Join the RGYC Crew Matching WhatsApp group for more information, up to date notifications, and more opportunities to get on the water.

You’ll need a SailPASS. Unless you’re an RGYC member you will need to obtain a SailPASS each time you sail via the Memberpoint app. You can download the app via the usual platforms at any time. Register with Royal Geelong as your club, then on the day of sailing you can obtain your sailPASS for the day. (Leave it until the day in case racing does not go ahead, as the number of passes you can obtain is limited.) RGYC Sailing Office staff can assist you with this if you have any issues.
