Out There Sailing

Out There Sailing is designed for teens! With a focus on dinghy sailing, participants will also get to experience (subject to weather) other water activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking and power boating. This course is all about teens getting together and having lots of fun in, on and around the water. Perfect for teens aged 12-17 years, no experience is necessary – just some water confidence and a ‘have fun’ attitude!

Out There Sailing for Teens

A relaxed, social way for teens to learn sailing with their mates. Out There Sailing is all about fun, confidence, and time on, in and around the water, with zero pressure and a supportive coaching vibe. Great for individuals or friend groups.

Skills They’ll Learn:
✔ Basic steering and sail control
✔ Turning the boat (tacking and gybing)
✔ Safety and confidence on the water
✔ Sailing with others and sharing roles
✔ Enjoying sailing while learning the basics

Course length: 20 hours
Cost: $340

Term Courses: Thursdays 4.30pm to 7pm
School Holiday Courses: 4 days, 9.30am to 3pm.
