Women on Water (WOW) at RGYC is all about bringing women together to learn, sail, and connect. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to advance your skills, WOW offers a supportive, all-female environment to help you build confidence on the water while having a great time.
Our program combines hands-on training sessions, social sailing events, and specialty race days like the Women’s Helm Series—all designed to help you grow as a sailor and be part of a vibrant community.
Meet the other women in sailing, including club members and broader sailing community.
Get Involved
As a female member of RGYC, you’re automatically invited to all WOW activities, training sessions, and social events. You’ll also join our WOW WhatsApp group, keeping you connected with fellow sailors and up-to-date on all the latest happenings.
Why Join WOW?
WOW is your gateway to becoming part of a supportive network of female sailors, where the focus is on fun, friendships, and building confidence both on and off the water.
Royal Geelong Yacht Club acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land and waters on which the Club and Wangim Walk stand, the Wadawurrung People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future, and recognise their enduring connection to Country, including the waters of Corio Bay.
