The RGYC Sailing Academy is the premier Discover Sailing centre in south-west Victoria, offering learn to sail courses in Geelong for all ages, powerboat courses and further training opportunities.

RGYC is an Australian Sailing accredited Discover Sailing center, offering courses for everyone from the age of seven and up. This includes Tackers for primary school aged kids, Out There Sailing for teenagers, Dinghy Learn to Sail and Keelboat Learn to Sail for late teens to adults. The Sailing Academy runs courses beginning in Spring through to the end of Autumn each year.

RGYC’s professional staff ensure that our learn to sail programs in Geelong are fun, safe and affordable, and ran in accordance with Australian Sailing’s best practices. Awarded the 2017 Victorian Discover Sailing Centre of the Year, our Sailing Academy accommodates over 200 students per year under our professional and friendly qualified Instructors and Assistant Instructors.
