2024/2025 International Etchells Victorian State Championship

Saturday 8th to Monday 10th March 2025

RGYC, in conjunction with Etchells Geelong, are proud to host the 2024-2025 International Etchells Victorian State Championship, over the Labour Day long weekend in March. Hot off the heels of the 2025 World Championship at Royal Brighton Yacht Club and the 2025 Festival of Sails, we invite entries to one of the best flat-water sailing venues in Australia.

Competitor Information

Trailer Parking & Boat Logistics

RGYC will house all competitor trailers onsite. Our hardstand has plenty of space for rigging on trailers, but boats must be launched once rigged and stay in their allocated berth until the completion of the regatta.

Due to ongoing construction of the clubs new Sailing Centre, space is limited and RGYC requests entrants be flexible and follow the direction of RGYC staff at all times.

Storage between Brighton Worlds and Etchells States

If any Etchells require storage between the Brighton World Championships and the 2024/2025 International Etchells Victorian Championship, please contact the Etchells Geelong fleet captain Tom Kelly on 0428 883 278.

Vakoros

Following the successful implementation of the Vakaros system at the Australian and World Championship event earlier this season, this event will utilise the Vakoros system with full functionality.

Entrants who do not have a Vakoros system will be loaned a unit for the event. If you wish to purchase a Vakoros unit in the lead up to the event, please contact your Etchells fleet captain or you can purchase these directly from Vakaros.
