How can I log in to start using the RGYC volunteer system?
Go to Volunteer Registration – Formsite
Option 1 – Login as a person who is already in the system
– Please enter your username and password
Option 2 To register as a first time user of the site. Click on Register
-Complete the Registration Form
-Create your own password.
-Save
Continue following the prompts and complete the information requested.
What do I need to complete the registration?
You will need your Working With Children Check information and a digital image of your card or the application confirmation. You will need your personal details and emergency contact information.
What is my Username and Password?
Username: this is your email.
Password: you created this yourself .
What if I forget my User Name or Password?
User Name – The email address that you provided to RGYC.
Password – Click the Forgot Password
What do I need to complete the registration?
– You will need your Working With Children Check information and a digita; image of your card or the PDF application confirmation.
– You will need your personal details and emergency contact information.
– If you don’t have certificates/ evidence for some of the information required simply leave starting the item until yo have the material.
– Please ensure that the file size you want to upload is no longer than 4MB.
An Extra Tip: Some roles at our events require specific qualifications and you must provide the information before you can select those roles.
Can you use one email to register for more than one person?
No, you are not able to register more than one person using the same email address. This is a unique identifier to assist with rostering.
How do I upload an image for my WWCC and qualifications?
Option 1: Using your camera (laptop, desktop, tablet) take a photo of the WWCC or qualification.
– Save the image onto your device
– Under the Qualification click on “Choose File”.
– Browse your files and upload the image from you computer
– Click save.
Option 2: Using a mobile phone take a photo and send the image to your own email.
– Open email and save the image onto your computer/laptop/tablet.
– Under the qualification click on “Choose File”.
– Browse your files and upload the image from you computer
– Click Save.
If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact the RGYC Office to arrange a visit to the Club and we can assist you to photograph and upload the images.
Can I use the same image for more than one qualification (e.g. CPR & First Aid)?
Yes. However, you must make sure the file name is different for each image upload. this can be done by copying the image and right clicking the file name and selecting Rename File.
Why does my qualification data disappear?
You need to Save each qualification individually as you complete it.
Why won’t my information stay on the page if I go to another page or leave the site?
Every time you enter information on a page you need to Save This is done by clicking the Save or Submit button.
Is there any way to leave mandatory fields blank?
No, however, if you require assistance to complete them, please call the RGYC Office on 03 52293705.
How can I change “Zip Code” to “Post Code”?
Zip code only appears if the country is not set to Australia. If it still remains as Zip code, just enter your post code.
Where can I find my AS (Australian Sailing) number?
Visit the Australian Sailing website www.sailing.org.au/member-find/ and “Check my Australian Sailing Number”.
Where do I find my Australian Sailing list of qualifications?
Visit www.sailing.org.au/accreditation-finder/ and enter your details
Is a Post Office Box address okay for my emergency contact?
A street address is required. We need to be able to contact this person under what may be unusual circumstances.
What if my professional qualifications are higher than the required level?
Write a brief outline in the space provided near the bottom of the page.
What is the best device for using the Volunteer System?
We suggest that you use a desktop, laptop or tablet. While you can access the system using a mobile phone at any time, it is not ideal for detailed data entry.
