The Royal Geelong Yacht Club has officially launch its Skiff Rowing programs as part of the “Spring into Action” Initiative, aimed at facilitating Geelong Workers to become more active!

“Spring into action is all about getting people moving and trying new things, the program offers a range of activities including, yoga, hiking, rock climbing, running, water aerobics and much more.

RGYC will be offering people the opportunity to partake in a range of St Ayles Skiff Rowing sessions at the following times across the month of October.

Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm

Thursday evenings from 5:30pm

Sunday mornings from 10:00am

RGYC is excited to open its doors to the Greater Geelong community and promote sailing in all its forms. While participants will be introduced to the club and sport through Skiff rowing, they will also be exposed to the many options of engaging in the sport of sailing as well as the club as whole.

At the conclusion of the “Spring into Action” program participants are also given the opportunity to continue their involvement in the sport through local, interstate, and international St Ayles Skiff regattas, ensuring the long-term reach of this important community health initiative.
