On Sunday RGYC officially launched the Sailing Development Program (SDP) to a crowd of enthusiastic members, VIP’s and sailors!
Attendees were given the opportunity for a sail on the new RS21 boats that will be used for the SDP, followed by an official ceremony to acknowledge all the sponsors, donors, volunteers, staff and supporters of the program!
It was encouraging to see so many enthusiastic youth and Cadet sailors volunteering at the launch event, and embracing the opportunity for sailing development this program presents to them!
We were also honored to have representatives from GeelongPort and Geelong Youth Engagement, two of our foundation sponsors in attendance at the event. It was a fantastic to be able to showcase the strength and reach of the programs to these sponsors, and thank them for their ongoing support of the Sailing Development Program.
